Andrea Osmond, PEng

Managing Partner

Andrea offers over 20 years of oilfield service and technology experience, with over half in senior leadership and executive roles. Mrs. Osmond has a reputation for creating precise and creative business plans across business functions.  

​

Mrs. Osmond began her career deploying automation systems in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, gaining hands-on oilfield experience that continues to guide a deep appreciation of the role both people and technology play in achieving successful business outcomes.  

 

More recently, Mrs. Osmond lead the successful acquisition and carve out plans of a $1 Billion company. Following the acquisition Mrs. Osmond took the role of Director, Strategic Marketing & Communication reporting to the CEO. In this role Mrs. Osmond established a new Brand identity & strategy, a grass-roots technology marketing strategy resulting in $36M of incremental sales in 6 month, deployed all new internal and external communications infrastructure and lead several investor events, board of director meetings and employee townhalls. Following the establishment of the Marketing & Communications function, Ms. Osmond went on to lead Business Process Optimization within the company with a focus on operations effectiveness, delivering $70M QoQ of EBITDA across North American operations.  

 

Mrs. Osmond has extensive experience developing comprehensive and actionable strategies across technical service offerings for North American and Global service and technology companies.  In her role as Global Market Analyst at Schlumberger, Mrs Osmond co-authored and lead the company's first comprehensive analysis of the complete $600B Global production market, collaborating and localizing the strategy across 14 business segments and was the business owner and co-inventor of proprietary market analysis technology.

Mrs. Osmond has worked for Schlumberger, Tervita, BJ Services, Enmax, and AltaLink. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary.

Brent Osmond, CPA, CMA

Partner, Advisor

Brent offers over 20 years of oil & gas experience, with over half of that spent in senior executive level roles, Mr. Osmond brings a track record for creating extraordinary results and visionary concepts.

Mr. Osmond began his career at a regional CPA firm before joining an international, integrated energy company. During this time, Mr. Osmond gained a unique perspective and deep understanding of the fundamental aspects of accounting and financial reporting for upstream, midstream and downstream operation, as well as multi-billion dollar capital projects. 

 

In his roles as CEO & CFO, Mr. Osmond has built companies with assets in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, North Dakota and Montana. He has guided private equity backed companies and publicly traded companies, and has also taken private companies through liquidity events including IPO and RTO transactions.

​

Most recently, Mr. Osmond founded, financed and built a logistics and energy marketing company that went from start-up phase to acquiring and integrating $2 billion in contracts in under three years. Working with major international energy companies, independent commodity trading houses, and Western Canadian producers, Mr. Osmond's deep industry knowledge and understanding of how to assemble a winning strategy were critical to the overall success of the company.

Mr. Osmond has worked for Husky Energy Inc., Questerre Energy Inc., Perpetual Energy Corp., and Mountainview Energy Inc. in the public domain, and private entities including Nytis Exploration Company Inc., Prosper Petroleum Ltd., and Clover Oil and Gas, Inc. Mr. Osmond has negotiated, structured and sourced over $500 million in debt and equity capital in his career.
 

Brent is a Chartered Professional Accountant, and a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Commerce. Mr. Osmond sits on the CPA Alberta Energy Advisory Board and leads the ESG and Carbon Subcommittee.
